Tap at brewpub with a Reuben. Clear gold with sissy head. Nose is citrus and hay. Tastes of lemon, grapefruit, hay, grassy. Quite bitter and sweet finish.

Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a dark brown with orange highlights and a medium sized creamy off white head that left good lacing. The aroma was sweetish with light notes of molasses, tobacco and wood. The flavor was sweet and malty with notes of sour caramel, molasses, faint dark fruit and wood. Medium length finish. Medium bodied and smooth. Decent.

Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a very slightly hazy pale yellow-gold color with a medium sized creamy white head that left great lacing. The aroma was perfumey and grassy hops. The flavor was tart and mildly bitter with perfumey and grassy hops. Long perfumey finish. Light to medium body. Not good.

Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a dark brown color with orange-highlights and a large foamy tan head that left excellent lacing. The aroma was woody with notes of bread crust and cardboard. The flavor was dry, woody, nutty and was somewhat bitter and astringent. Medium length finish. Medium body. Meh.

Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a caramel amber color with a large foamy white head that left excellent lacing. The aroma was tangy and yeasty, a bit citric and perfumey. The flavor was sweet and tangy with notes of pepper, grain, and light notes of citrus, bread and yeast. Logn finish. Medium bodied and smooth. Ok.

Tap. Pours clear ruby black, large creamy brown head, nice lacing. Aroma is roasted malt, cocoa. Flavor is light plus sweet, quite bitter, roasty, anise, cocoa, lightly acidic, coffee. Medium body, high carbonation.
