Growler from the brewery. Pours a dark mahogany, with a small off white head. Aroma us quite malty, big notes of bread, biscuit, and soft caramel. The hops are distinctly UK, big aroma of what Iβm gonna say are goldings, cause they are also adding a lovely spiciness. Body and mouth feel, are spot on, body is a touch thick, and Iβm digging it. The finish is all goldings, probably some fugues too. Green, leafy, fresh hops, with some subtle spice. Not sure of the alcohol, but Iβd bet around 6-7%. A great autumn/winter evening quaff. Very nice!

Growler from the brewery. Pours an amber colour, with a nice medium white head. Aroma us quite resinous. Lots of sticky pine notes, with solid caramel malts. The body is good, carb is pretty low though. The finish is all pine, malts disappear. The bitterness is punishing, grabs the back of your throat and wonβt et go.

Fresh draft at the north bay craft beer expo. Clear golden pour, medium white head. Right off the bat, first thing is an aroma of butter, with some muted grains in the background. Hops are grassy, and a little dull. Mouth feel, and carb are good. Finish is light, and quite muddy from the diacetyl/butter flavour. A first effort that needs more time in the tank I think. But once thatβs cleared out, it should be a nice session blonde.

Clean, light golden-yellow colour with a small white cap, and leaving a little lacing spots. Mild cereal malt aromas with a citrus-sour touch to it. The same continues in the taste. Thinner mouthfeel with a decent drying finish. Gets a touch hazy at last pour. A good, easy-drinking very light lager that has enough hops to give some lift to it, with that citrus-sourness. Just not sure if the sour notes are infection, or hops?

Can from the LCBO. Hazy medium amber with a small cream coloured head that produces stringy lace. Floral hops with a touch of citrus and some light grains. Light+ nectarine sweetness with a medium citrus peel and grass bitterness. Mouth is medium and creamy with average carbonation and bitter finish. Well balanced, though not particularly big OR juicy. 7/3+/7/3+/14

Nitro-dosed can pouring a black-brown colour with no highlights, a huge creamy-frothy warm-beige head, great retention and leaving thick soapy-creamy lacing. Roasted malt aromas with some molasses, hints of dark fruits, coffee. Not much coffee felt actually. Maybe a little more in the taste, creating some bitterness with the burnt barley. Enough hops to be dryish in the end, so not too thick of a mouthfeel. A good Imperial stout with the coffee being well-hidden, but fairly hoppy.

Gets a hazy golden colour with a warm frothy cap, average stay with some decent lacing. Juicy, wet mouthfeel with some decent building dryness in the finish. Citrus tart left on the tongue, hints of grass. Hoppy citrus nose that is fairly mild with a touch of pineapple and peach. This is alright, but not BIG and Juicy all-around. More like milder and bitter-dry. The West meets East Coast IPA description does work for this though.
