The tradition of our house goes back to Wolfgang Pfeffer, who founded the brewery in 1889. He made the recipe for our steam beer. Bamberg Bash, Day 1. Train bottle swig. Light haze on this gold beer, good white head. Palate is light and softish. Soft and slightly sweet pale malt. Light floralness and a suggestion of something fruity. Dry finish with a touch of spice.

Der Geruch ist säuerlich-malzig-hefig. Das Bier ist sehr wässrig-süffig-säuerlich. Sehr angenehm zu trinken, aber auch sehr interessant. Muffig-säuerlicher interessanter Nachgeschmack.

500 ml bottle at home. Pours a hazy yellow gold with a thin white head. Aromas of bread, cereal, hay, lemon. Taste has more lemon and light malt sweetness. Creamy texture. Chewy finish.

[Thanks to McTapps]. Bottle. Golden colour with a white head of easy formation and medium lasting. Aroma is mild malty with sweet notes and cookies. Flavor is moderate sweet with a slightly bitterness, moderate malty with plumbcake notes. The final is light but good compensated.
