Can at the November DC Ratebeer share. Poured a clear yellow color, small white, fizzy head. Aroma was sweet corn, cardboard. Caramel, sweet, dusty malts.

12oz can pours a dark gold with some fizzy white head. Nose is weird. Very sweet and malty, some butterscotch. Flavor is very buttery and cheap malt and candy. Flabby finish.

--Sample, thanks Robin! -- Clear pale golden, small head. Ligtly cidery nose with some paper and grass. Mid sweet with ligt body and clean mouthfeel. Corn flakes and apples. Low bitterness.

Review based on the BJCP2021 guidelines (style 2A). Bottle 25 cl - Batch 250224 10:23 (BB: FEB 24). AROMA: medium-low grainy-sweet malt aroma with a faint DMS-like and minerally background note. APPEARANCE: light yellow color and cristal clear. medium-low white head, moussy, with average retention. TASTE: initial medium-low grainy-malt flavor with some corn-like notes. faint oxidation (paper). medium-low bitterness with a dry and somewhat bitter finish. MOUTHFEEL: medium body with medium carbonation. OVERALL: an ok south american international pale lager.
