A little caramel, some weeds. Less weedy but more bitterness than VB - so meeker but cleaner.

I understand the decision to name it after a nerve gas and to package it in grenades (the local name for 250ml stubbies) but why put in Melbourne Bitter colours? Surely hi viz would have been the go. Ooh, crown seal not a twist top. Clear golden amber with a swiftly vanishing white head. Familiar but perhaps slightly more intense aroma of caramel, grain and weeds. A bit more sweet presence in the malt side of things but - swings and roundabouts- that just emphasises how quickly it flabbily drops away at the end. But it’s not dreadful, just not for me.

Can. 2pac day, but alas, he rated Carlton Premium Dry. Was that the same beer? Who can fucken say. Gold with a collapsing white head. Cheap, grainy aroma. Edging up on watery. Sweetish and bland. Cleanish with very slight weedy bitterness that does that odd trick of being harsh despite there not being much of it.

Canned@Tallinn Crap Beer Festival 2019. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is herbs, rubber, grains and some mild metallic notes. Flavour is earthy, some dusty and mild rubbery tones. Harsh. No malts.

300ml can into glass. A free gift from BWS, Glen Innes. So no great expectations here. Pours a pale amber with zero head, high carbonation and a smell of raspberries that fills the room. Taste is slightly beer-like, zingy light carbonation. Finish is sweet raspberry with a lingering fruity sourness. One is definitely enough. Too much sweetness, not enough body.

CUB has released a whole raft of these under various brand names and are intimating that fruity beer is an innovation. It's presumably their response to the challenge to their business posed by RTDs. Can. Pale orange with no head. Aroma of raspberries - real but not deep - vague sugary crackers far behind. Lightish bodied, surprisingly low carbonation. Sweet with ice-cream like caramel and fake vanilla, rather less raspberry. No perceptible bitterness but the sweetness doesn't linger at first. I guess I'm not the target market for this.

Can at our neighbours' joint birth party. Suspected it was a tick. Sweet malty aroma. Clear amber. Thin bubbly translucent white head. As per aroma the flava is sweet and malty but all rather low key. Thin. Light. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long if uninteresting finish. Bland as.
