375ml bottle at Wrest Point Casino, Hobart. I can't believe I haven't rated this before but here we go. Pours a golden amber with some sparkle but no head and minimal carbonation. Aroma is mild apple. Zingy, slightly oily texture. Watery hollow finish, lingering apple cores. Not brilliant but much more drinkable than some of the insanely sweet things being sold as cider at the moment.

Schooner on tap at Club Hotel, Glen Innes. Crystal clear amber beer with a thin white foamy head. Nice carbonation, nice lacing. Good old CUB aroma, stewed vegetables and swamp gas. Thin body, oily texture. More vegetables and sherbet in the finish. Truly horrible taste and smell, looks good.

375ml can from Dan Murphy's Hurstville. Golden amber colour, white foam head and aroma of malt, grain, paper, metal. Taste is sweetish, malty, grainy, with some cardboard notes and metallic bitterness. Medium bodied, high carbonation, drying earthy bitter finish. OK very cold I suppose.

750 mL can from the grocery store. Pours a clear, golden color, with a big, fizzy, white head. Straw, caramel, rose, and roasted corn. Sweet and grainy, with a mellow, sticky bitterness. Light, crisp and a bit sticky. Weak and thin, but inoffensive enough.

Can at Down under. Clear golden body, white head. Smooth, creamy, floral-fruity aroma, hmm. Lean taste, medium to low body, bit creamy maltiness, low fruit and mushroom taste, no bitterness, weirdly works for the level it's at. Can't find a major flaw with it in its bracket. Just don't expect an actual bitter.

Can at Down Under. Med-thin body, med-light carbo. Med-light bitter, low sweet, quite dry. Flavor is dull, med-light general estery fruitiness. Light grassy, earthy. Mostly just fruity tho. Drinkable, but just too dull.

375ml bottle from Dan Murphy's, Hurstville. Golden colour, bubbly white head and aroma of apple, sweetener, sulphur. Taste is sweet, appley, sugary, with papery notes and some citric acidity. Medium bodied, high carbonation, sweet & drying acidic finish. Not the best
