Van het vat in Hanoi. Geel oranje kleurig bier met schuim. Smaak is licht bitter hoppig en fruitig met iets van grapefruit. Gewoon een goed bier.

Van het vat in Hanoi. Zwart bier met schuim wat snel wegzakt. Smaak is licht bitter en heel licht zoet met iets van caramel en gebrande noten. Voor deze regio een goed bier.

On tap at Legend Beer Brewhouse, pours black with a small beige head. Aroma brings out crunchy herbal notes, toasted bready malt, and skunky vegetal notes. Flavour is along the same lines, with toasted nuts, some herbal notes and crunchy vegetables. Way too vegetal and somewhat stale. Drinkable.

On tap at Legend Beer, pours a cloudy golden orange with a medium white head. Aroma brings out notes of straw and light bready malt. Flavour is similar, with notes of grass, straw and crisp biscuity malt. Clean and refreshing, but nothing special.

Tap at the brewpub. Poured a hazy reddish brown with a thin off white head. The aroma is sweet caramel malt, light smoke. The flavour is light sweet with a light floral hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Tap at the brewpub. Poured a hazy straw colour with a thin broken white head. The aroma is light malt. The flavour is moderate bitter with a yeasty, light hop bitter palate. Refreshing but a little average.

On tap in Hanoi. Dunkel is pitch black with mahoganey highlights and a 1cm head of beige foam. The aroma is syrupy, cocoa fudge. Similar raspy carbonation and light body as the lager. The taste is a rich fudge caramel. Pretty good.

Lager is a deep gold with a thick dense head and a grassy, herbal aroma with mild malt notes. Raspy carbonation on a light body. The taste is very green earthy and bitter with not much malt character. Not really my thing but well made.
