Brown color. Madeira, dry cherries, dried apricots in the nose. Big malty backbone that is bigger than the 5.5% suggests. Hop bitterness is subdued. Lots of fruitiness that doesn’t blow me away.

The cherries were deceiving (I didn’t know they were put into the beer until just now), as I got more tropical fruit flavor, but I loved the underlying tartness of the beer. Slightly smokey mouth with more tropical fruits. Very carbonated. Dry tropical fruit finish. Enjoyable.

Pours hazy gold into a shaker. Bright white micro head meringues and does not recede. Orange and sour cinnamon aromas. Fresh flowers and mown grass upfront with a dry, tangy citrus and resin hop finish.

Golden straw hue with medium-sized white head leaving lots of lacing. Would have liked the head to be longer-lasting thoughAroma is lacking for the style, really have to search for it. Hints of banana, some spicy cloves and a little bit of green hops. Very soft alcohol. Very faint skunk (stupid green bottle?)Taste also lacks depth. Doughy yest, substantial bitterness, alcohol takes over in lingering finish. Spicy/peppery hints with a bit of lemon peel/bitter orange.Mouthfeel is damn near perfect, slightly too much heat on the palate.Lacking in aroma and flavour, but a fine effort from NZ brewery Moa.

Pours a dark ruby - the aroma is doughy, nutty, with a slight earthy must, fruitiness and vegetal character - full but soft carbonation in the mouth - almost like a brown ale in flavor, with strong nutty flavor, moderate herbal bitterness - a little chalky and dry on the back end - slight hints of cocoa and bread at the end as well - earthy - an interesting and underrated beer.

(Bottle 37,5 cl) Pours a warm and almost clear amber golden with a neat and lively off-white head. Lightly burned malt in the aroma. Medium body with a very lively carbonation. Roasted malty accents and some nuts. Dry and lightly bitter finish. Mostly reminds me of a Brown Ale. 250308

Bottled. An unclear dark amber beer with a lazing orangey head. The aroma is sweet malty with hints of caramel. The flavor is has grassy notes of hops, cardboard, malt, and caramel, leading to a bitter finish. The body is thin. Thanks Papsoe for hauling this home to Denmark and sharing.
