Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 29A: red fruits - Base: 26A). Bottle 25 cl - Batch L20/168 08:18 (BBF16/12/2021). AROMA: initial low metallic note that vanishes. medium-low artificial and syrupy red fruits aroma (red currants, slight strawberry), with a sweet background. APPEARANCE: red amber body and clear with fine particles in suspension. low light pink head with average retention for style. lace formation. TASTE: initial medium-high sweet red fruits flavor with a syrupy and artificial character, followed by a late medium to medium-high bitterness. finishes dry and slightly bitter but needs some time to get there. MOUTHFEEL: medium-low body with medium-low carbonation. OVERALL: an overly sweet and artificial fruit beer. although there is significant bitterness to balance, the initial sweetness is overwhelming rendering it a bit unpleasant.

Can. Just slightly hazy golden, smaller white head, nonlasting. Mildly yeasty nose, some spices and gentle fruitiness. Medium spicy, gentle bitterness, some yeast and some sweetness. A bit peppery in teh finish. Lasting aftertaste. Has that typical Belgian feeling, just a bit more gentle. Not bad.

0.33 l bottle, best before December 2022. A little hazy, deep reddish amber with a medium large, slightly fluffy, slowly diminishing, off-white head. Sweetish, malty, gently yeasty-spicy and slightly fruity aroma of caramel, honey, raisins, some orange peel and traces of vanilla. Quite sweet, malty, gently yeasty-spicy, slightly fruity taste of caramel, honey, nuts, raisins and some vanilla, followed by a short, gently bitter, quite yeasty-spicy finish. Medium body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Tasty Amber even if quite yeasty, maybe even too much.

Bottle, 0.33l. Aroma of caramel, yeast, paper and flowers. Pours cloudy brown amber color with large soapy tan-like head, floating yeast particles and sparkling appearance. Taste starts with medium sweet caramel and bread, following is dried fruity and faint medicinal, mouthfeel is spicy, while finish is moderate bitter. Medium body, thick texture and soft carbonation in palate. Good one…
