Cask at the Wellington, Sheffield on 19th January 2013. Burnished red with buff head and no lace. The brewer knows what I’m talking about :) Sweetish roastie aroma with hazelnut nuttiness. Fruity , grainy and nutty in-mouth, with plenty of roastiness. Caramel malt dominates finish. Medium body and light mouthfeel.

Cask at the Wellington (formerly the Cask & Cutler) Sheffield on 19th January 2013. Golw ith thin loose foam and no lacing. Hoppy and cheesy aroma. Rich grassy hop in mouth and a dry finish. Zingy mouthfeel. Enjoyable ale.

Cask (handpump) @ Rat & Ratchet (Ossett), 40 Chapel Hill, West Yorkshire, Huddersfield, England HD1 3EB.Clear medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, moderate hoppy, green grass. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20120121]

Cask, handpump at The Dragon, Worcester 19.05.12 4.0% Pours light to mid gold with a scattering of white bubbles. Touch minerally but pithiness showing, dry at end. Tasty and bitter, like the other Littld Cart beer tried today this is a pleasant bitter very much in the mould of other Little Cart beers. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov14 3.3

Cask, handpump at The Dragon, Worcester 19.05.12 4.3% Pours shining mid gold with a slim white head. Loz detected a tiny bit of butter, can’t say that I did. Good bitterness, pleasant bitter very much in the mould of other Little Cart beers. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov14 3.4

Cask, handpump at The Rat and Ratchet, Huddersfield 17.03.12 in company of dad & Barry Pale golden in colour with a white head. Some tropical fruits starting to show in the mouth with this one. A lingering sweetness, keeps in check the hoppiness and bitterness which are present, a little soapy hop in fact also shows. Good beer. A7 A4 T7 P3 Ov14 3.5
