Hazy. Light amber. Has a decent blackberryish sort of hop nose, same on the palate but chewy and with a touch of diacetyl. So, not great and not super fresh.

12 oz bottle poured at TaconTendor, Playa Del Carmen. Actually quite a fan of the concept of this brewery's marketing. A caramel red pour with a gushing foam head. With the gushing foam head, and the slightly soured feel in the flavor, I think something may have gone wrong here. Sweet malt and metallic nose. Flavor is a tart, berry like front, with a sweet malt constant. Whatever happened here doesn't seem intentional, but it didn't come off as spoiled to me. Perhaps just a unique take on the style that I am just now running into? Dusty malt lingering finish with a semi tart reminder. Interesting..

A golden ale with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, nice biscuit malt with grassy hops, light mineral notes, pleasant. In mouth, a nice caramel malt with light grassy hops, light mineral notes, nice. On tap at Tasting Room, DF.
