Cask handpull The Harp Chandos Place. Clear gold lasting white head. It’s an ok golden ale. Some citrus flavour. Not great condition. Some dryness on the finish. Bit bland and unexciting.

Cask at the Pig n Falcon, St Neots. Copper colour, very little head. Unfocused but inviting aroma: everything from apricot brandy to saltwater taffy to cat pee. The bitter acrid beginning of the taste softens, leading to a balanced bittersweet finish with a hint of citrus sour. Flat, medium body. Not the best.
