Tasty pint. Caramel, toast, and a touch of apple lead to a modest floral bitterness and a hint of yeast.

16 oz draft at Trade Street Taproom, Greer. Flavor is earthy grain, toffee with a lager yeast finish. Some lingering earthy tones. Crisp texture.

Crisp Italian-style pils, easy-drinking and slightly sweet, with a modest floral spiciness on the back end and a clean finish.

$2.33 single from GBX. Affordability is delicious. No best by or born on date. Pint glass @home. Brown on black pour, cola highlights. Short but lingering, pale tan head. Decocted was my favorite word of 2023. Molasses, un-toasted brown bread, a void of Vegemite savoriness. Maybe just not that big. Taste upfront is caramel & almond, some whipped cream. Very smooth initially then it thins out with a bittersharp middle that's more like flat cola with a prickly Aspirin hop bite. Very end shows a teeny bit of lingering char. Didn't even need that. Frothy but a bit low overall in bubbles. Very tasty.

ON tap @GBX. 10oz pour. Clear, bright, medium gold, lacy. Euro lager nose. Semi-sweet, aged tips without any punch, very slight fruit, grain finish, a little hot. Kinda trash.
