Taster pour from a can at Rising Pint. Opaque dark brown, ring of head, no lacing. Aroma is coffee and sweet malt. Taste is strong, lightly bitter coffee, somewhat earthy roasted malt. Smooth texture soft carbonation finish as taste.

Can (5/5/20) pour from Manchester Wine & Liquors. Appearance is pretty, hazy gold with minimal sparkle, 2-finger fluffy white foamy head with excellent retention and attractive leggy lacing. Aroma is dank, basement-cardboard tart fruit with milder berry fruit. Taste is mix of nondescript sweet fruit and grains. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth, frothy texture, average carbonation and sweet finish as taste with late mild dry bitterness. Overall, doesn't hit on all cylinders for the classic NEIPA--not opaque/thick, more tart than sweet aroma, not full of juice. Definitely NOT a juice bomb. Maybe it's just that there's more Ahtanum in here than Mosaic but I would never have guessed Mosaic. Not terrible but, if you're going to play in the NEIPA arena (especially in New England!), you've got to raise it up a notch (or two).

16 oz. can in a trade with tfontana. Canned on: 5/5/20. Aroma is weak citrus and soft grain. Flavor has slight peach and very light apricot. Finish shows weak sweetness. No flaws just lighter on character.
