Canned 269ml. -hmm...first to rate this one. Saw the bottles in Manaus and Recife but I’ve had it from can in the restaurant under the Jesus statue in Rio. Pale yellow/golden coloured, airy white head, light grainy nose. Sweet malty, light grainy, some alcohol and faint fruity notes with short sweetish finish. Thin and alcoholic but not malt liquor for sure.

Canned 350ml. -straight from the can while driving to Jesus in Rio de Janeiro. After Rio saw this beer only in Natal and Porto de Galinas. Light roasted malt, caramel and notes of chocolate with touch of metal and sugar in the finish. Stout from the can...no thanks...

Bottled 355ml. -Straight from the bottle on Copacabana. Sweetish malty, light hoppy and bready with moderate bitterness in the finish. Not bad.

Canned 350, 453 and 550ml plus bottled versions. -from shops, bars and all other places across Brazil. Also the first one I’ve rated on Brazilian soil. Pale golden coloured, small white head, weak malty nose with hint of salt. Malty, corny and watery with short bitterish finish. As I knew it before, there won’t be such a difference between other Brazilian macros. Drinkable but ordinary.

Pours a clear golden color, topped with an extremelly small white head that disappears in seconds. There is a mild, but fruity malts aroma. Not really nice. The taste is slightly sweet, watery and light. No real bitterness. Only a little in the aftertaste. But surprisingly, still drinkable.

Pours a pale yellow color topped with a small white head that immediately disappears. There is a very unpleasant aroma at first. Malty, wet cardboard and sweet. The taste is too sweet, just too much sugar, with a slight bittery feel in the end. No, just no.

330ml bottle given free by Virgin Trains after ’accidentally’ sitting in First Class. Clear bottle, nice and cold but not much in the way of taste. Quite watery with very light hops and decent carbonation. Not completely undrinkable, but just lacking a lot of everything that beer should have.

330ml bottle. Poured a clear golden yellow colour, small white head. Aroma was subtle, corny. Taste was rather weak and watery, not even any bitterness. Not unpleasant, but quite bland. Drank as summer refreshment it was ok but not something I’d want to buy again. 2014-06-21
