Very amber amber ale, rich toasted biscuit malt mixed with mild nut and caramel notes. Definite Euro feel, probably due to the funky Noble pungent hops. Finishes a bit doughy, toast and butter with a slight floral bitterness, mostly mild and accessible. Decent, if plainspoken.

Asked for an IPA, got a Kolsch. What can you do? (Although for a second I thought I legitimately found the worst IPA ever. Not so.) Grainy with a massive doughy, toasted biscuit malt front, backed by a healthy dose of pungent floral hops. Slight fruity yeast notes balance a prolonged bitter finish. Solid version of a weak style, but man I wish I’d gotten the IPA I wanted.

Pine and some passion fruit. Good fruity nose. Hazy orange pour with decent head. Bitter finish. Tap in Memphis at hillbilly casino like you bet your last coonskin cap.
