The pour is a hazed copper orange with a one inch foamy tan head. The aroma citrus, resin, pine and caramel malt. The taste is the resin citrus, floral, sappy pine and sweetness of caramel malt. Also a bit of alcohol warmth towards the back. The palate is medium bodied with soft carbonation and a mineral resin warming finish. Nice.

6 oz. draft at Idyll Hounds Brewing Company in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. The pour is a very hazed orange strawberry red with a small white head. The aroma is tropical fruit, lactose sour and bit of a cream element. The taste is softly tart sour up front with the guava fruit very present, finish gets a bit yeast funk and vanilla. The palate is light to medium bodied with an unfiltered mouth feel and a tart and yeast finish. Interesting, though didn’t personally love the vanilla aspect.

750 mL bottle, shared by Albert. Pours black, with a big, bubbly, khaki head. The aroma is strong tannins, black currants, black pepper, and coffee. Not that sweet, with a mellow bitterness. Heavy body, with a sharp, acidic mouthfeel. This is a pretty nice, and very interesting stout.
