Crowler from Blaine, thanks dude!
Poured into a snifter, the appearance was a semi-clear orange/amber color with no head. Alcohol strings of lace appear ever so slightly but fade in time.
The aroma leads with a blend of some molasses, brown sugar, grassy hops and then some toffee to caramel malts. Closer to the end of it a slight earthy to bubble gum sort of quality comes out.
The flavor leans into the sweetness of the prior mentioned aromas to bleed on into the aftertaste and roll right on into the finish.
On the palate, a medium bodied barleywine persists upon a fair carbonation and leading on into an acceptable ABV level. Good smoothness along my tongue.
Overall, really good barleywine that I would have again. Big Slide looks like they’re on my radar now.

Crowler, thanks Blaine.
This was poured into a mug.
The appearance was a mostly brown/black color with a finger’s worth of light tan foamy head that gently dissipated. Stringy lace.
The aroma had some sweet grains, light coffee bean, some raisins and then a light cocoa powder as it warms.
The flavor leans towards the sweetness of the blend of grains to raisins and then the coffee bean comes in with an ever so slight touch of roast as it nears the aftertaste and pledges the same on into the finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a nice almost medium bodied feel about it. Good carbonation. ABV felt appropriate.
Overall, nicely done oatmeal stout for the most part. I could bang out another crowler of this if I could get one.

A reddish copper barleywine with a thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet cloying caramel malt with loads of butterscotch candy, unpleasant and sickly sweet. In mouth, sickly sweet butterscotch malt with light treacle, light hops, alcohol warmth, dark fruits, molasses, a bit too much.

A lightly hazed golden ipa with a thin lacing off white head. In aroma, nice biscuit malt with pungent piney hops, light mineral notes, light citrus pulp, very nice and fragrant. In mouth, a sweet fruity biscuit malt with loads of tropical fruits, light treacle, resinous and piney hops, very pleasant. On tap at brewery.
