Can. Clear brownish amber with an inch of near white head. Toasty aroma with mandarin and spices. Some biscuit. Sweet and first with a more Vienna-like caramel and biscuit before lots of mandarin and spices and a snappy enough bitterness. OK, but what's interesting is also inharmonious.

The flavour is moderate to light sour, light sweet, with a light, crisp, sweet cola, saccharine, light herbal, vanilla palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation.

375ml can at the Chuan Bar, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a clear golden colour with a short-lived, fizzy white head. The aroma is lime and vanilla. The flavour is moderate sour, light sweet, with a light, crisp, tart lime, sweet lactose vanilla palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation. Light, sweet and fruity. Nice enough after a long walk on a hot day, but not what most people would describe as a beer.

330ml can at the Beer Bank, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a hazy golden colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt and pineapple. The flavour is moderate sweet, light bitter, with a crisp, light, slightly watery, light tart pineapple, light sweet floral hop finish. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation. Someone light, but tasty … if you like pineapple of course.

375ml can from the Great Beer Bar, Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. Poured a clear, almost black colour with a short-lived, frothy, off-white head. The aroma is massive coconut. The flavour is moderate to light sweet, with a fresh, grainy, mineral, crisp, chocolate, coconut, light floral hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation and a bubbly mouthfeel. Rather unique. Can’t say I’ve ever tasted anything like this before. Nicely balanced. Very moreish.

Pours gold with a sudsy head that leaves a fair bit of lacing.Nose shows pine, resinous and spicy hops along with some vanilla.Flavours include pine, soft lactose, faint peach, vanilla.
