Draft at Blue Cat. Poured a dark brown, almost black color with a small, tan head. Aroma was roasted malts, some light sweetness. Very light chocolate, some coffee. Probably would be improved if it were on nitro to be perfectly honest. Mild sweetness, a touch thin.

Draft at the brewpub. Poured a clear yellow color, small head but bubbly carbonation. Aroma is light pepper notes, a touch of chili pepper fruit notes, light malts. Flavor is very light pepper, not too much heat after initial sip. Clean and easy to drink.

Draft at the brewpub. Poured a dark ruby color without much of a head at all. Aroma was some alcohol, with notes of dark fruits. Flavor was dark fruits, alcohol notes. Sweet. Could use a bit more ooomph and yeast note to it.

Draft at the brew pub. Poured a dark black pour with a brown, medium sized head. Aroma is roasted coffee, caramel notes, bitter chocolate here. Flavor was sweet, roasted malts, caramel notes.

Draft at the brewpub. Poured a clear orange color, not much head. Aroma was mild, sweet notes. Flavor was light sweet notes, some light wheat character. Corainder and spice notes in this one. Not the best I’ve had from them, but an adaquate fruit beer. Would like to see this one without any filtering though, this was too translucent!

Draft at the brewpub. Poured a clear orange-copper color with a small off-white head. Aroma was light sweet floral hop notes. Flavor was light floral and citrus hops. Sweet, very drinkable.

Draft at the brewpub. This beer poured a dark, caramel color with a nice light tan, creamy head. Aroma was notes of sweet caramel notes, some dried fruits. Flavor was nice caramel notes, touch of fruits, light bitterness.

Sampled from the tap at 2011 FOBAB. Poured a clear dark ruby brown with a ruby white head that dissipated slowly to the edges. Aroma had a good amount of spice with some peppermint and peppermint. Also notes of floral and tropical fruit. Flavor had more tropical fruit and flora with backing notes of peppermint, ginger and oak. Interesting.

A dark brown ale with a thin mocha head. In aroma, chocolate meet Belgian yeast and spices, coriander, very nice. In mouth, a nice Belgian inspired ale with curacao, coriander, very nice and smooth. On tap at FoBAB 2011.
