Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear golden with a dense and lacing white head. Aroma is a little perfumy, fruity. I donโt exactly feel the impact of American hops. Rich, malty body, a little cloying almost with a shitload of hops, but Iโm lacking freshness and crispyness. This is a bit rough. 270616

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear golden with a white head. Thereโs some citrus character in the nose, but also a slightly Herbal, earthy character - very British. Medium body, vague buttery accents before a rough, bitter finish. Hippos deserve better beers named after them than this. 270616

Keg at the Stockbridge Tap. Pours hazy golden orange with a thin white head. Aromas of pine, citrus pith. Taste is pithy too, with a sweet backnote. Clean finish.

Cask @ [ DOE - Olfestival Kobenhavn 2016 (Beerfestival Copenhagen) ] @ Lokomotivvaerkstedet, Otto Busses Vej 5A, 2450 Copenhagen SV, Denmark. [ As Allendale End 97 Summit Single ].Unclear matt medium orange yellow color with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, moderate hoppy, citrus, grass. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, citrus, grass, pale malt, hop bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20160519]

Cask at Cloisters. Pours golden with the faintest haze, thick, creamy head. Aromas of light citrus, lemon. Taste is bitter, creamy too, green tomato. Bitter finish.

Sample from 50 cl. bottle. Slightly hazy, golden colour with a thin, white head. Fruity aroma with citrus, grasses, butterish notes, floral hops. Taste is bitter. Medium bodied. Finishes dry and bitter. Nice one.
