Cask at the Pup & Duckling, Solihull. Poured a slightly hazy golden colour with a lasting frothy white head and some clingy lace. The aroma is grainy, yeasty. The flavour is moderate to light bitter, with a smooth, malt, light yeast, herbal, light citrus, light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle. A gift from Totnes. The person not the place. Clear amber. Frothy suds of lasting pale tan head. Nose has caramel. Bit of rye like spice. Marmalade hoppage. Twist of ripe citrus fruit. Taste is semi sweet with a decent hop spice bitterness. Good body. Fair bitter finish. Nice trad job.

Clear gold. Frothy foamy white head. Aroma has upfront citrus over a malty base. Light-medium bitter. Citrus with a quinine hit. Underlying sweet malts but the quinine element really takes over. Light-medium bodied. Slick verging on thin. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. A bitter lager (well, Pils).
