Bottle from The Lazy Dog Slightly hazy light golden color with a frothy white head that shows moderate retention. Moderate earthy minty resinous pine hop with plenty of bready crackery malt to back it up. The flavor starts off bready malty sweet but the hops push that aside rather quickly. Spicy earthy resinous hops build towards a lingering spicy almost peppery finish. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation. Nice hop fest going on here, I enjoyed this.

Bottle at home in CT - picked up in VT. Pours mostly clear gold with a frothy, white head. The aroma holds some pale bread, lightly tangy tangerine, mandarin orange, grapefruit, hay. Lite-medium sweet flavor with semi-dry, biscuity pale malts, nips of white bread, bitter citrus rind, pith, slight grass, more tangerine, grapefruit. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Pretty nicely balanced to finish with more lightly bitter citrus pith, some dry pale malt ballast lemon rind, grapefruit, dirty hay, grass, mellow pine needles. Perfectly acceptable.

Pours hazy gold into a shaker. Bright white soapy head recedes to mottle surface. Cat piss aromas. Sharp with bready caramel and bitter earthy hops upfront turning to mild pith in the lasting finish.
