Bottled in Cuzco. Pours a brownish dark, some coffee notes and maltiness - quite serviceable for a widely available south of the equator beer.

Bottle. I tried this beer several years ago at the Brickskeller in Washington DC. It’s the same beer as Cusqueña. Not much to say except it’s an average Latin American beer. On the same level as Dos Equis.

Negra, con espuma tostada. Aroma malteado. Sabor miy malteado, tostado. Muy muy dulce, lo que la invalida. Poco cuerpo tipico sudamericano. Floja

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 2C). Bottle 33 cl - Batch unknown. AROMA: low roasted malt aroma with faint corn and caramel notes. APPEARANCE: dark brown color with slight ruby highlights and almost opaque. style average tanned head with average retention. TASTE: high sweetness from adjuncts or remembering under-attenuated wort. low roasted flavor masked by the sweetness with a cocoa character. no bitterness with a sweet finish. PALATE: medium-light body with average carbonation. OVERALL: a very sweet dark lager. unbalanced.
