Dark brown, near black with a bubbly tan head and a mellow roasted malt aroma. Smooth and creamy, treacle, dark fruits, roasted malt and a little kick of spice, finishes dry and a little bitter.

ABV: 6.0%. Clear dark black brown colour with a average, frothy and open, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate to light light heavy malty, roasted, dark malt, chocolate. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet with a long duration, sweet malt, dark malt, chocolate. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20191010]

Cask-conditioned at the Pelican, Gloucester December 2023. Golden in colour, with a thin, white, head. Citrus hops and tangerine fruits, biscuity malts and a dry finish with some alcohol warmth. Enjoyable.

Cask at GBBF '23, day 2, 02/08/23. Clear golden orange topped with a good sized off white head. Nose is tangerine, grass, melon, citric tinged straw. Taste comprises tangerine, light bread dough, melon, mango, papaya. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close splashed with light juicy hop bitterness. Not bad.

Fra cask på GBBF aug-23, delt med Steven: klar gylden med kort skum. Beskjeden aroma men god smak av citrus, engelsk appelsinmarmelade, urter og furunål. Tørr avslutning med mersmak.

GBBF Day 2. Cask. Almost clear gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, semi reasonable fine carbonation. Smooth sweet pale malts, a bit dry. Reasonable ripe orange and tangerine citrus. Even a touch of floral tropical fruits on the dry finish. Flavoursome but dry.

Cask at Nottingham Arms, Tewkesbury. Pours clear gold with a white cap. Malt, tangy citrus, hoppy. Light sweet with moderate hop bitterness. Light to medium body with moderate carbonation. Old school hop tackle.
