Can from Cork & Cask. Amber body with a faint haze and a beige head. Low carbonation. Patchy lacing. Aroma of toffee, wood and orange. Flavour of peppery earth, cranberry and toffee apple. Medium body with a smooth mouthfeel. Light fizz. Really enjoyed this. It’s rich and sharp at the same time.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up via Cork & Cask online. Pours lightly hazed red-brown with a lively, frothy light khaki head. Moderate sweetness, toasted malts, a little tangy rye, some mellow pine, orange rind, a few leaves. Light bodied with average, massaging carbonation. Finishes with nips of leathery berries, toasted grains brown bread, earth. Nice overall.
