Smell of sweet malt, some raisins and biscuits. Faint toffee also. Hazy chestnut colour, tiny beige head. Aroma of raisins, toffee, red berries. Sweet malt and toffee in finish. Very sweet. Slick texture, soft carbon. Hides ABV completely. Delicious.

Bottle from the infamous 🏴 🇧🇷 beer swap. Red chestnut. Tastes like a intense chocolate and berry hiking bar. Cocoa nibs, cranberries, nuts cocoa butter, roast, rosehip. Müsli, fun.

Bottle at the Munich Brewver Christmas gathering at Jonas's in Garching Friday 28th November 2025, in the company of Jonas and Ursula. Pours dark brown with decent clarity, there's a slim off white rim. The nose is a little dusty, perhaps a bit of chocolate. Taste is a very interesting combination, barley wine and chocolate as it states but, soft mouthfeel, good, warming and a touch boozy, actually I get a bit of Terry's Chocolate orange.
