Can shared with Sarah in the apartment in Fuertaventra. A dull pale yellow coloured pour with a lasting forthy white head. Aroma is slightly grassy hop, spicy notes, mild sweet malts. Maybe a Rye bread on the nose. Flavour is composed of spicy grains, biscuit Rye, little grassy hop. Palate is thin, mineral, moderate carbonation. Ok. Not bad.

Canned from Mercadona. Pale golden coloured with a white head. Nose is grassy with a bit of caramel. Flavour is sweet, wet paper, light bitter. Moderately sweet and a bit watery. Very lightly hopped. Finish is slightly sweet. A solid gluten-free alternative to regular mass produced lager.

Can, 0.5l. 4.3% ABV, 10.6% extract. Clear golden pour with two finger soapy white head, quickly diminishing. Very fizzy, lots of bubbles. Not so pleasant on the nose, malty and grainy with some cardboard and stale water off-notes. Thin body, watery texture, regular to high carbonation. Nothing interesting going on here, pretty much your average cheap lager. The plus point would be that it’s not particularly offensive. Malts, grains, grass and hay in the aroma. A bit of metal, a bit of cardboard. Watered down so it’s a bit easier to swallow. Meh. Pointless.

33cl can from some supermarket in La Nucia, Spain. Pours the usual pale golden with a modest, white head. Mild grainy aroma with hints of fruits and not much else. Moderate sweet, not much flavours at all and a rather light bitterness. Watery and boring. --- Beer merged from original tick of Puerto Dorado Cerveza Sin Gluten on 09 Feb 2017 at 19:09 - Score: 4
