hope this is the right spot for this, its unclear. cant tell if it says bionda on the label anyplace. some skunk in there but its mo like skunk or veggie cabbage, really. Pale ale color. Green bottle with a twist off cap. taste is typical veggie smelling pale lager, not bad but not exceedingly clear either. decent carbonation yet not above average. finish is like aerosmith rocks er sumthin. look is just plain old pale yellow water without any bubblin. birra italiana, yea, glad i’m dago.

Can. A golden beer with an off-white head. The aroma has notes of straw, sulphur, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, straw, and some sulphur, leading to a bitter finish.

Canned 500ml. -Pale golden coloured, medium sized white head, almost neutral nose (just some weak hint of dust). The taste, hmm...nothing. Acidic water without hops, brewing cereals or something else. This one should be named Alpen Water.

Bottled 500ml. -Bought at Euro Spin, Maribor. Dark brown coloured, medium sized off-white head, light roasty nose. The taste is huge letdown; sweet malty, strong metallic and faint fruity with unpleasant rusty notes. Hardly drinkable. This Devil is one of the worst dark beers I’ve ever tried if not the worst.

0.5l can courtesy of and shared with ogivlado who brought it from Slovenia (thanks!) Poured a pale golden body with a small-medium white head that went away relatively slowly. Very light vegetabley aroma, blah. Watery yet dry taste, NOTHING in it. NOTHING. Some acidity. Hungarian supermarket beer level, possibly lower than most. I guess it’s a bit of an art, ruining water like that.

Kiefer Bräu Black Devil Birra Scura actually. The bottle says it’s brewed at Pedavena, so why is it here? I have to look into this. Brought by ogivlado from Slovenia and shared with me (thanks!) Poured a murky black (dark brown). Big-medium off white thick head going away at a medium pace. Light roasty malty nose, maybe some hop. Distinctly metallic taste, roasty and rusty. Light. Oooooh I get iiiit. Devil. Metal. Yeah. This is as much black metal as umm Mayhem or something. Aaaanywayy... some nut (maybe pistacchio) in the taste and very light roasty bitterness int he aftertaste. There’s something underneath all that metal but I guess this is too grim and frostbitten for it to show.

Bottle from Jamies, Italian Restaurant, Oxford, 24-09-09 Pours gold with white head and much like the previous pale lager Messina that I had at this establishment the only things that really stood about it was how stunningly mediocre it was. Maltier that the Mesina, with graininess showing, its just ok, no more no less. A4 A3 F5 P3 Ov9 2.4
