Brown medium coarseish head. Dark red barely translucent body. Light plummy licorice aroma. Dry roasty plummy papery taste with chocolatey notes. Mid-bodied. Dry papery roasty licorice aftertaste with grassy notes. Quite nice, but could use more body. Ɛ.5l bottle from KnutAlbert. Listed as "Kiefer Black Devil" in my notebook.)

01/08 0.66 l bottle from Interspar, Udine. It poured golden body with medium sized head. Aroma of some herbal hops, bit papery but fine enough. Flavor is a bit malty, watery, nothing offensive, but almost bland. Well, what else can be expected from a light beer. Some grass hops in the finish. OK and drinkable, but really boring.

Bottle. Caramel malt, cherry aroma with light astringency. Reddish brown color with small head. Sweet caramel malt and prune flavor with light astringent flavor. Almost a carbon copy of Birra Moretti Rossa but lighter.

660ml bottle. Very pale, golden body with a diminishing white head. Almost no aroma, some grain maybe. Not much flavor either, some grain and straw, and then as a big surprise some well-pronounced bitterness in the aftertaste. But this bitterness seems almost to be a bit artificial and inconstant. A pretty weird beer that’s not exactly undrinkable but not very pleasant either. One of the most ugly beer labels I have ever seen looks like cough medicine.

Blond color; ordinary head. The aroma is lightly hoppy, better than the average bad Lager. But the flavor is as poor as expected, quite dry, non necessarly more bitter than usual. Poor.
