Nel 2023 Birra Castello S.p.A. ha ceduto il ramo d'azienda dello stabilimento di San Giorgio di Nogaro al gruppo Royal Unibrew, ma continua a mantenere la proprietà degli attuali marchi (Birra Castello, Birra Dolomiti, Pedavena, Superior e Alpen) e prosegue nella strategia di potenziamento e sviluppo dello stabilimento bellunese mentre Royal Unibrew si assicura un polo produttivo da 1 milione di ettolitri l'anno.

33 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a small tan head. Aroma is cornish, dark malty and vague fruity. Caramelish, dark breadish malty and vague fruity note. Ends dry malty and slight bitter. Vague metallic note.

6th June 2010. RBESG 10 Grand Tasting at the Brasserie 4:20 warehouse. Clear amber beer, not much of a head. Light dry palate. Toffeeish malt with a little orange marmalade hop. Okay.

Bottle at RBESG Rome Grand Tasting. Amber colour, white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel. Flavour is light sweet, malty, caramel, nutty, light bitter finish. Light to medium bodied.

Can 330ml. [ As Castello Birra Lager Premium ]. Clear light to medium yellow color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, grain, toasted, hay, cardboard. Flavor is light moderate sweet with a average duration, cardboard. Body is light to medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20100111]
