Cask (handpump) @ The New Oxford, 11 Bexley Sq, Salford, Manchester, England M3 6DB.Clear medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, toasted, fruity, moderate to light heavy ginger and soap. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to light heavy ginger bitter with a average duration, and a peppery - ginger sweet finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. Ok... in a departure from normal rating... due to the INCREDIBLY high number of BLOND ales during the Shefiled trip that all blended into one another im breaking them down into three catagories Catagory A : Golden Yellow ... light fruity lemon hop nose ... soft dull light lemon hop Catagory B : Amber ... light dry lemon hop ... soft light lemon hop with a little malt in background Catagory C : Amber ... soapy lemon nose ... light brigh lemon hop Catagory D : Amber ... light grassy lemon hop ... dry grassy lemon hop This is a Catagory C Station Bar at huddersfield

Cask handpull at The Head of Steam, Huddersfield. Pale gold, thin white head. A lightish lemon based gold ale. Bit of decent grapefruit on finish.

Cask gravity at Ealing BF 2009. Very dark brown/deep mahogany with lasting bubbly tan head. Quite a yeasty aroma. Very drinkable, bit tight on tongue. May need a day to open up the flavours. Decent coffee and choc. Quite light. 3.0/5.0 Re-rate Cask handpull at Ye Cracke, Liverpool. Deep brown, lasting dark beige head. Dark fruit with some malt on aroma. Little roasted malt presence. More like sweet dark plum, jammy, blackberry flavours. It’s super to be honest. Great mild. Only vague sting on finish, but the fruity malts are brilliant.

Cask @ National Winter Ales Festival 2009, Manchester. Pours a clear golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty caramel aroma with some hoppy hints. Fruity malty caramel flavor with some bitter hoppy hints. Has a fruity malty caramel finish with some bitterness in the aftertaste.

Cask @ National Winter Ales Festival 2009, Manchester. Pours a dark brown color with some ruby hints and a small off-white head. Has a slightly roasted malty caramel aroma with some weak hints of chocolate. Has a sweetish roasted malty caramel flavor. Slightly sweetish malty fruitu caramel finish with some hints of chocolate.

Cask via handpump at the Wenlock Arms, London on 9th June 2009. Pale, light bodied amber ale with average sized white head which reduces to disappear halfway down pint glass. Hint of Harvey’s taste in the initial aroma, grassy notes and fresh dough scent giving way to citrus in the first kick. Grassiness returns in the aftertaste with a strong and long finish. Well crafted beer, quite "busy" flavourwise. An interesting and pleasing drink.
