8/I/19 - 33cl bottle, shared with the misses @ The Goods Shed (Canterbury), BB or bottle date: 29/IV/18 - (2019-66)
Clear orange beer, small creamy off-white head, unstable, little adhesive. Aroma: some tropical fruits, pineapple, little cheesy, some orange peel. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: very very bitter start, like, really super bitter, dry, medicinal, unpleasant bitterness, some bitter grapefruit. Aftertaste: more off that super bitterness, rather unpleasant, bit metallic, too bitter, a bit soapy.

Level 42 Bottleshare. Hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Airy palate, semi dry and with decent fine carbonation. Light malts, mildly sweet. Tangy orange and gooseberry. Mild floralness. Smooth finish. Quite a concentrated flavour here, not the usual saison wishy washy herb!

Bottle split at L42, thanks to Kenny, 19/10/17. Hazed golden with a decent off white cap. Nose is white peppery spice, orange marmalade, straw, grains. Taste comprises citric tinged straw, light yeast esters, green berry tang, more white peppery spice, grains, lime rinse. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent enough saison ... a nice surprise.
