Cask (handpump) @ The New Oxford, 11 Bexley Sq, Salford, Manchester, England M3 6DB.Clear medium orange yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, fruity, hay notes, light hoppy, fruity. Flavor is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a average to long duration, hay, malty, fruity. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20130125]

Cask-conditioned at the Bag O’Nails, Bristol 1/3/2014. Golden in colour with a slight white head. Big, juicy hops with plenty of pineapple and grapefruit, a touch of slight creamy malts and pleasantly dry finish. Excellent all round.

Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 5/9/2013. Near black with a slight, tan head. Sweetish beer, with some dark fruits, milk chocolate and touch of roastiness. Good.

Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 3/9/2013. Slightly hazy gold with a tight white head. Citrus and tropical fruits aplenty, a touch of creamy malts and dryish finish. My beer of the Seven Stars’ September 2013 Staffordshire beeriodical.

Cask at The Lodge, Alsager. Amber with a cream head; citrus aroma; grainy, creamy, body with a good grapefruity bitterness; the finish is bready with prolonged grapefruit. A decent citrusy summer ale.

Cask at White Horse Hedgerley, Bucks (21st annual beer festival). A dark hazy golden coloured pour with a thin white head on top. Hoppy, orange, grapefruit aroma. Tastes of orange, grapefruit, hoppy, malty. Touch of the Kernels here, pretty decent actually.

Half pint, cask by handpump at the New Oxford Winter Ales Festival. Clear golden body. Bubbly white head. Mild citrus aroma. Flavour of lemony hops and honey sweetness. Semi-dry ending with a smooth bitter touch. Ordinary (Greater Manchester, 27.01.2013).
