Aroma is beautiful, loads of juicy citrus notes and citrus zest with grapefruit, and orange juice. Flavour is more of the same with a crisp and clean lightly bitter finish with a pleasant citrusy aftertaste. At 3.9% could you ask for a better patio beer?

Cask days 2015. Jet black, small beige head. Strong coffee upfront, solid roasty malts, but they don’t battle the coffee. Silky mouth feel, great carb. Medium to high near the end bitterness. A great almost refreshing cold coffee quality to it.

Cask days 2015. Jet black, medium mocha head. silky oily mouth feel, soft carb. Huge aroma of super dark espresso, loads of bitter cocoa, and lots of woody barrel, with subtle sweet vanilla. The finish is medium to high bitter, strong dark roast, and soy finish. Light licorice, and pine resin in the end with a woody, sweet, vanilla. Complex, and super tasty.

Tap at barhop. Hazy yellow pour, small white head. Yeasty aroma, light tropical fruit, full mouth feel, soft carb. Finish is again very yeasty, apples, and banana come through as it warms, and it gets quite sweet.

On tap at Barhop. The deScription sums this beer up perfectly. Huge amount of tropical fruit, every kind of citrus under the sun and some big pine resins. A hop heads dream beer. Spectacular Ipa.

Cab from the lcbo. Pours a nice yellow with a big white head. Aroma. Of tropical fruit, some pine resin and alot of catty cat pee. Good mouth feel, solid carb. The finish is got a big cat pee flavour with some light citrus zest and a strong citrus pith bitterness. I’m assuming there is a huge over abundance of centennial hops, reminds me alot of the dogfish head 60 minute ipa and it’s signature cat pee profile.

Cask days 2014.
A really impressive mix of nutty, sweet coconut with some very roasty, dark, slightly soyish coffee. The sweetness wasnt overpowering, but just sweet enough to compliment the intense nutty roastiness from the coffee. Both melded beautifully. One of my favs of the festival.
