Bottled (backlog). Reddish deep amber colour with a mediumsized off-white creamy head. Aroma is spices,some alcohol, mild sweet malts as well as some toasted notes. Flavour is quite similar, but also has some burnt sugary and mild yeasty notes to it.

Canned 500ml. -from Geant Albertville. Golden coloured, big white head, slightly yeasty nose. Sweetish malty, light herbal hoppy, touch of yeast and metal with some weak spicy notes in the finish. So-so.

0.5l can shared with ogivlado and Iznogud (thanks Ogi!). Golden body, white head. Canned by Jenlain. Err... the aroma shows a nice Belgian presence with some herbal hops on top but completely annihilated by a huge metallic note. Taste... creamy Belgian yeastiness, light herbal hops. Thankfully weaker metallic note. Not bad really for a canned beer, but that off flavor offsets it.

33cl bottle from M&S. Pours a surprisingly clear golden/blonde colour, no sign of any yeast floating around, very thin white head which fades away quite quickly. Aroma: sweet malt, citrus, banana, yeast, honey. Taste: sweet malts, citrus fruit, yeasty, spicy, slight hop bitterness coming through in the finish. Medium-full body and mouthfeel, medium carbonation. A good drinkable beer, not outstanding but considering how cheap this is (£1.49) in the UK it’s pretty good for the price.

Bottle at cgarvieuk tasting. Appearance - pale yellow. Some head. Nose - meadow flowers and yeast. Taste - more of the same. Palate - light bodied and fairly fresh throughout. Overall - very light and didn’t make an entrance really. Like a very light biere de garde.

Clear caramel color with a fine big frothy off white head. Ok intensity in the aroma. Medium (+) body and an average carbonation level. Tad sweet and a moderate bitterness. Decent complexity in the flavor. Fruity, some yeast, malty, mild citric and some spices.

330ml bottle from Auchan. Pours a lightly misty amber, large off-white head. Aroma hints towards earthy malts with a light sweetness. Taste is rather tame malts with faint yeast and even fainter juniper berries. For a biere de garde it’s nice enough, but not really hitting the high notes.
