Bottle shared at CBJ - cheers to AdiBeer. Pours black with a small, foamy beige head. Medium sweet flavour, fairly fruity, some grapes, subtle roast, dark sugars. Full bodied, lightly oily, with fine carbonation. Moderate sweetness to finish, more dark fruits, grapes in the finish, low earthy bitterness, lingering warmth. Enjoyable gear if somewhat simple.

Bottle split at the last minute CBJ Tasting (big thanks Marcin for hosting), thanks to Tips for this one, 13/07/23. Light black with a tan cap that thins to a swirl. Nose is chocolate, toffee, dried fruit esters, dates, raisins. Taste comprises toffee, toasted brown sugar, cocoa sprinkle, dates, cake mix. Medium plus bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a kiss of alcohol. Okay if a touch pedestrian.

Bottle shared at craft beer junction bermondsey. Thanks. A hazed mahogany brown coloured pour with a a halo of beige head. Aroma is semi sweet, jammy berries, woody roast, esters. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, jammy raspberry, woody roast, fleshy raspberry.. Palate is semi sweet, oily, light tang, moderate carbonation.

Not the L6 bottleshare. Thanks to Tips. Opaque dark brown beer, small tan head. Smooth palate, mildly dry, decent fine carbonation. Light dark chocolate malts, a thin creamy vibe. Modest spicy ripe fruits before a semi dry finish. Tidy but forgettable.

Bottle shared in London - many thanks to Adi. Pours clear deep brown with a small, bubbly tan head. A little paint in the nose. Medium sweet flavour, earth, burnt toast, cocoa, raisins. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly warming finish, a little ash and cocoa. So so.
