Bottle:Hazy, ruby-amber coloured, smaller stable off-white foam; sweet dark-malty nose with a good dash of roasted malt; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied; dry bitter toasty and slightly fruity finish. Not bad, a bit like a heavily diluted Stout......

Leicht getreidig-herber Antrunk. (1 litre swing top bottle) Clear dark amber colour with a short creamy, slightly off-white head. Slightly sweet malty and grainy nose; slightly toasted with caramel and a very light and slightly sour fruity note. Bittersweet flavour, medium to light body, smooth carbonation. Sweet taste of dark and slightly toasted malt with light notes of caramel, almost none fruity esters detectable; medium dry and slightly bitter and low hopped finish. Drinkable, but rather boring example of the style.

(on tap at the brewpub) Slightly hazy hazelnut-brown colour with a short but stable and slightly off-white creamy head (that reminds me of a nitro beer). Slightly fruity (dried fruits) dark malty toasty aroma. Medium sweettoastmalty taste with caramel and a fruity tinge; toasty and slightly bitter, light hoppy finish with a fruity and slightly tart aftertaste. Slim but well-made Dunkel.

Light-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied, smooth floury mouthfeel. Slightly sweet grainy, worty taste, slightly yeasty, light-bitter and medium dry hoppy and malty finish with a light fruity note.
