6/4/2019. Cask at the Weighbridge Brewhouse, Swindon. Pumpclip simply said Village. Pours amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of toffee, fruit, hops, malt, flowers and a little buttery biscuit. Medium sweetness, light bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation.

Cask-conditioned, on gravity, at Swindon Beer festival, 28/10/2016. Deep copper in colour with a slight, off-white, head. Citrus and red berry fruits, leafy hops, cereal malts with a vaguely toasty edge, leading to a moderately bitter finish. Good.

Why bother making beer like this…
Clear deep golden color with an off white layer on top. Moderate intensity in the aroma. Medium (-) body and a soft carbonation. Tad sweet and a moderate bitterness. A bit sour, some butter and some yeast. Ugh….

Oh noo……
Clear nutty color with an off white head. Ok lacing. Quite mild aroma. A bit light body and a soft carbonation. Ok balance between sweetness and bitterness. Soap and caramel malt in the flavor…..undrinkable.
