Cask-conditioned at Swindon Beer Festival, 23/10/2014. Deep amber in colour, with a slight, off-white, head. Aroma of red berries, tangerines and warming alcohol. Flavours of barley sugar, more fruit and some green herbs, leading to a smooth finish. Alcohol was well hidden. Very good.

On gravity at Swindon Beer Festival, 24/10/2013. Deep gold, with a slight but tight white head. Big, hoppy aroma with plenty of grapefruit and pineapple. Flavour was also fruity, with perhaps more orange character, some balancing, biscuity malts and a lengthy, dryish finish. Another excellent beer from Weighbridge.

Had this at Oxford Beer Festival, Oxford, Thursday 17th October 2013 Dark gold in colour with slim white head. Not a bad effort from this new micro from Swindon. It is a good session ale a touch floral on nose with perhaps a light cheesiness also, hops restrained but present, good bittersweet balance, absolutely fine. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov13 3.3

[Cask at Reading Beer Festival] Deep amber with a moderate off-white head. The caramel is possibly a little cloying, but there’s some nice orchard fruitiness (fresh apple and blackberry) and a moderate earthy bitterness that makes it surprisingly refreshing for an old ale.
