Bottle at Masseria Susafa, 6th April 16. Pours black, little or no head. Aroma is liquorice, leather, caramel, treacle toffee. Taste is black treacle, coffee, liquorice, salt, leather, sweet, carbonation low, palate could be fuller, but very nice.

Bottle on balcony at La Plumeria, 3rd April 16. Pours a dark amber. Unusual aroma, I guess it’s the prickly pear, sweet, musky. Taste is sweet, slight sourness, fruity, interesting, not bad

Bottle on balcony at La Plumeria, Cefalu, 3rd April 16. Pours a deep amber, slight head, good lacing. Aroma is vineous, yeast, barn yard. Taste is complex, refreshing, yeast, funk, bread. Very good.

Bottle on balcony at Taormina, 1st April 16. Pours slightly hazy straw colour. aroma is floral, slight perfume, pine and citrus. Taste is clean, refreshing, floral, nice grains. Very nice wheat ale

Bottle at Golden Sunset, 1st April 16. Pours straw coloured. Aroma is orange and coriander. Taste is clean and refreshing, orange blossom, floral, slight coriander, good simple saison

Bottle at Golden Sunset, Taormina, Sicily, 31st March 16. Pours a copper colour, aroma is sweet, caramel, fruit, hops. The bottle is almost on its BBE, but taste is sweetish, caramel, quite enjoyable, bitter towards the end. Nice

Ambrato carico totbida buona schiuma discreta persistenza naso maltato fruttato caramello frutta matura lieve solvente buon cotpi attacco dolciastro buon amaro non molto aromatico lieve floreale leggere note etiliche lievi note astringenti
