Commenced brewing in late 2010. Beers initially brewed at Golden Valley in Herefordshire then installed its own equipment at a location near Solihull. Moved to Aston Birmingham in 2024.

Cask @ The Royal Oak, Shrewsbury. Pours dark, pale tan head. Aroma has moderately sweet malt leanings. Taste is smooth, fairly rich with good treacle, faint liquorice, dark malts. Delicious stuff.

Cask (gravity) @ NBF 2015 [ The 40th. Nottingham Beer Festival (The 8th Robin Hood Beer and Cider Festival) ], Nottingham Castle, Friar Lane, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England NG1 6EB. [ As Silhill Pure Star ].Clear medium orange amber color with a small to average, frothy - fizzy and open, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, sweet malt, flowers. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, sweet malt, caramel, fruity. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20151008] 6-3-6-3-13

Cask at Cherry Reds, Birmingham. Poured a clear dark brown with a frothy light tan head. The aroma is light roast malt, some light sweet creamy caramel. The flavour is moderate sweet, light liqourice bitter with a silky smooth rich red berry fruit, light sweet chocolate, light liqourice hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Hand-pulled pint in Solihull on 22nd Dec 2015. Amber/Bronze body with a beige topping. Malts all the way with this brew, caramel/molasses making it fairly sweet throughout. Decent.

Hand-pulled pint in The White Swan (a Wetherspoons) in Solihull on 22nd Dec 2015. Amber/golden pour with a foaming white head. Malty lead with a fruity middle and finish, semi-sweet and easy to drink. Liked it.

Cask at Cherry Reds, Birmingham. Poured a crystal clear medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is malt, light citrus. The flavour is moderate to light bitter with a smooth light woody hop, citrus, light creamy malt palate. Light to medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Cask at the Old Joint Stock, Brum. Pours very dark brown with a medium head. Aroma is coffee and raw cocoa. Taste has bitter cold coffee throughout with a little cocoa.

Cask at the White Swan, Solihull. Poured a crystal clear medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is big doughy biscuit malt. The flavour is moderate bitter with a smooth dry malt, light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.Earlier Rating: 5/10/2014 Total Score: 3.6Cask at the Old Joint Stock, Birmingham. Poured a clear medium amber with a thin broken white head and some broken lace. The aroma is citrus hop. The flavour is medium bitter with a smooth malt fruit spice pepper hop palate and a short bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Really impressed with this. A superb example of an English bitter.
