Cask at Shrewsbury Arms, Stafford. Pours a dark copper with a medium sized foamy cream head and good lacing. Roasted malts to the fore in the aroma alongside herbal hints and caramel. In the mouth it is sweet and smooth with a creamy texture. Flavour has roasted malts, floral hops, bread rolls and green herbs. Later on there are hints of cola, chocolate and liquorice as well. Finish is somewhat dry and malty. This is decent – very moreish

Hand pulled half pint on 13th March 2026, White Hart, Shifnal. Light golden body, clean and clear, white crown on top. Happy, hoppy blend on a decent malty base. Nice easy start to the beer festival going on the celebrate the pubs 1st Birthday under new management.
