Cask at Hogshead, Wolverhampton. Pours a hazy golden amber with a small foamy off-white head. There’s floral hops and citrus in the aroma plus some hints of mouldy fruit. In the mouth it fluctuates between bitter and sweet, but both subordinate to chewy dried apricot flavour. Some hints of hops, marmalade and autumn fruits as well ]. Finish is somewhat bitter and sticky. Didn’t like this one at all just about drinkable.

Cask at the White Swan, Solihull. Poured a clear golden colour with mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is malty, herbal. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a smooth, somewhat light, fresh, herbal, earthy, light sweet, woody hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with soft carbonation.
