Pours a clear, deep straw colour, with a frothy white head and slightly yeasty light malt aroma, with a hint of citrus in there. It's creamy, slightly bitter and citrusy, with a biscuity malt backbone

Cask at Hogshead, Wolverhampton. Pours a dark reddish-brown with a small off-white head and good lacing. There’s hints of rum and roasted malts in the aroma, but not overpowering. Sweetness is the main sensation in the mouth with plenty of dark fruit and peppery spices, plus suggestions of alcoholic strength. Not bad at all.

500ml bottle from Bernie's Real Ale Off Licence in Shirley: BBE March 2022. Drank at home on 20th August 2021. Clean golden amber body, off-white head that stayed a while. The nose held a caramel/malty molasses sort of aroma, the taste more of a blend of maltiness with a mini-bitterness from the hops. Enjoyed it.
