Description
Commenced brewing in late 2010. Beers initially brewed at Golden Valley in Herefordshire then installed its own equipment at a location near Solihull. Moved to Aston Birmingham in 2024.

20/10/2019. Bottle from Warwick Real Ale. Pours clear golden with a small white head. Aroma of hops, citrus, grass, malt and straw. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness. Moderate body, slight watery texture, average carbonation. Nice citrusy bitterness to finish.

I do not doubt that they have used three different hops. Cask at the old joint stock. A a clear deep amber orange coloured pour with a a loose white head. Aroma is spicy orange, orange rind, tangerine, apricot. Flavour is composed of solid Base malts, orange rind, apricot, light ginger. Palate is semi sweet, rounded, decent cask condition.

Cask at the Old Joint Stock, Bingoham, Cotts Convention V day, 08/06/19. Golden copper with a decent egg shell white covering. Nose is biscuit malts, straw, fruit esters. Taste comprises fruit esters, toffee, biscuit, dusty fruits, straw, hint of brown bread. Medium bodied, softcarbonation, drying close. Decent bitter.

Cask at Old Joint Stock, Brum. Sweet citrus aroma. Copper gold. Frothy white head. Light bitter with some citrus. Thin. Slick. Average. Abrupt finish. Bland gold.

Cask at Old Joint Stock; clear golden amber pour with a bubbly off white head, aroma has sweet malts and citrus, taste has light floral, citrus and a hint of malts.

Cask at Saint Pauls House, Brum. Pours pale gold with a small head. Aroma is sweet and grainy, with a little soapy lemon. Taste is grainy throughout with some sweet hop action on the finish.

Cask @ The Abbey. Pours clear deep gold, frothy white collar. Aroma is focussed on pale malt, some light citrus English hop. Taste continues along these lines, nice flinty clear hop presence, good balance, great condition, generally quite light with high drinkability.
