500ml bottle; BBE Dec 2021. Bought from Bernie's Real Ale Store (Shirley, Brum). Drank at home on 1st May 2021. Mini haze to the golden/amber body, white topping. Citrus front to the nose and taste, grapefruit and lemons mostly. I really enjoyed it, one of the best IPA's I have had for a while.

500ml bottle from Bernie's Real Ale (Shirley, Brum); BBE Feb 2022. Drank in the afternoon sun on my patio on 22nd Apr 2021. Rich golden body, clean and clear, on top a white head that went away fairly swiftly to just a wisp and collar. Malty base with a mild citrus like twist, enjoyed it.

Fourth beer of the day, Sunday 18th Apr 2021. Sunny and warm, having a mini-session with myself on the patio after cutting my lawns and tidying the garden a bit. 500ml bottle from Bernie's (Shirley, Brum): BBE Jan 2022. Deep golden amber body, white crust on top. Citrus front to this refreshing APA, really enjoyed it.

500ml bottle. Dark brown, slight ruby tinge, small off-white head, reasonable retention. Aroma is chocolate malts, light roast, semi-sweetness. Taste is sweet, roast malts, chocolate, red berries, bitter finish, very moreish. Moderate body and nice soft carbonation. There are no surprises here but it is a well made good solid tasty porter.

Bottle direct from the brewer. Pale gold with small white head and minimal retention. Aroma or biscuit malts, hoppy, a little spice. Taste is biscuit like malts, a little grass, a citrusy lime with a peppery note to the decent bitterness in the finish. Light body and moderate carbonation. This is a very tasty light sessionable beer. Not overly complex but has enough about it to keep me wanting more. Very good.

Bottle direct from the brewer. Light gold, small white head which dissipates quickly, not much retention. Hoppy citrus aroma particularly lemon, some flora. Taste is lemon, grapefruit, grassy, a little crisp. Finish has a mild bitterness and zesty citrus. Pleasant if a little one dimensional.

Bottle purchased direct from the brewer. Now showing as their take on a West Coast IPA. Deep gold, small white head with some retention but no lacing. Aroma is hoppy, malt, yeast, orange peel. Taste is zesty citrus peel, malts, a little spice. Moderate body and carbonation starts zingy but soon settles. Well balanced. Decent.

Bottle purchased and delivered directly from the brewer as part of a mixed pack. Recently bottled. Its my nearest brewery so thought its about time I tried some beers from them. Clear orange gold, small white head with some retention. Aroma of malts, caramel and honey. Taste is the same as aroma, quite malty and biscuit like. Moderately sweet with a decent level of bitterness for a golden ale. Quite a high zingy carbonation at first but it settled down to moderate. Decent body for a 3.9% ABV. Very enjoyable and has a refreshing session quality to it.

Half-pint by cask, shared with Finn after breakfast at Figure of Eight (JDW). Patchy white head leaving crocheted lacing behind. Clear golden. Moderate oily hops on the nose, hints of grain. Taste of mid-sweet caramel malts and oily hops. Ends bittersweet. Quite alright. (Birmingham 04.02.2020).
