Four different grains, the UK’s finest Goldings hops and the sweet kiss of honey collected from our local bee hives which come together to add a special buzz to the brew. A classic beer that’s light, crisp and dry with oodles of character. Relax and savour the subtle honey aftertaste. There’s a hum in every pint. Enjoy.

500ml bottle from Bernie's Real Ale Off Licence in Shirley: BBE March 2022. Drank at home on 20th August 2021. Clean golden amber body, off-white head that stayed a while. The nose held a caramel/malty molasses sort of aroma, the taste more of a blend of maltiness with a mini-bitterness from the hops. Enjoyed it.

Bottle purchased and delivered directly from the brewer as part of a mixed pack. Recently bottled. Its my nearest brewery so thought its about time I tried some beers from them. Clear orange gold, small white head with some retention. Aroma of malts, caramel and honey. Taste is the same as aroma, quite malty and biscuit like. Moderately sweet with a decent level of bitterness for a golden ale. Quite a high zingy carbonation at first but it settled down to moderate. Decent body for a 3.9% ABV. Very enjoyable and has a refreshing session quality to it.

2/11/2019. Bottle from Warwick Real Ale, Warwick. Pours clear bright dark gold with an average size bubbly off-white head. Aroma of spicy hops, malt, caramel, biscuit and buttered toast. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, average carbonation. Biscuity finish. Not bad.

Cask @ The Abbey. Pours clear amber, full off-white head. Aroma is fairly sweet caramel. Smooth, full, ripened fruity caramel character with a moderate sweetness, just sweet enough for me without going over board. Nice full taste to this. Good.

Cask at the Solihull CAMRA festival 2014. Poured a crystal clear medium amber with little life. The aroma is light honey, malt. The flavour is moderate sweet, light bitter with a rich chewy sweet malt, honey, light hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with soft carbonation.
