Description
Commenced brewing in late 2010. Beers initially brewed at Golden Valley in Herefordshire then installed its own equipment at a location near Solihull. Moved to Aston Birmingham in 2024.

Cask-conditioned at the Imperial, Worcester June 2023. Golden in colour, with a moderately-sized, white, head. Citrus hops, tangerine and grapefruit character, light malts, leading to a dry finish. Enjoyable.

Cask at London & North Western (JDW) at New Street Station, Birmingham. Pours deep brown with a tan cap. Aroma: sweet-ish chocolate malts, caramel, liquorice hints. Taste: moderate sweet & bitter, smooth, chocolate malts,, caramel, treacle. Medium body with fine carbonation.

Cask, half pint. @The Square Peg, Birmingham (UK). 18/02/2023 [#5.994 Global - #756 England - #1 Silhill Brewery (My English brewery #251)] Pours bright clean golden with a nice lasting and lacing creamy head. Aroma: straw and plain peppery malts. Taste: subtle pepper, bread and floral hops. Light cheesy. Next one please!

Half-pint, cask ale at Figure of Eight (JDW). Remaining beige head leaving upper part lacing on the glass, deep dark brown body. Moderately roasted aromas of brown malts, bready. Mid-sweet taste profile of caramel malts, bread, and cocoa. Roasted grainy bitterness to the end. Like it. (Birmingham 15.02.2023).

Half-pint, cask ale, shared with Finn after breakfast at Square Peg (JDW). Clear late straw coloured body, creamy white head, fair lacing. Moderate caramel-fruity nose. Blended taste of caramel, biscuit and a citric bite. Ends on the sweet side of bittersweet. Fair enough. (Birmingham 14.02.2023).
