12 ounce can. Hazy orange gold color. Large frothy beige head. Bready malt aroma hints at citrusy hops. Sweet malty backbone is balanced by some dank, bitter hops. Notes of grapefruit and and sticky pine. This one’s a hop bomb!

12 oz. can from Total Wine, San Antonio, TX. Pours a semi-clear gold color with a small white head and decent retention. No lacing. Faint beer aroma. Standard sweet pale lager flavor with a hint of lemon/honey in the finish. Nothing special yet refreshing. Medium-light body. Light carbonation. No bitterness.

Ever so slightly hazy golden and peach coloured body with a small, very thin, pure white head, only a centimetre tall. Aroma of citrus, light grass, hay and honey with very little else aside from some mild malts. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong grassy and citrus flavours at first with very little else aside from some mild biscuity malts and a dose of yeast along with some caster sugar and a touch of honey as well adding to the sweetness and pungency of this one, but definitely not in terms of hops, bitterness or real complexities. Aftertaste shows some grain and a touch of malt with no real hop flavours at all showing through - there is some sweetness, there is a touch of citrus, but no traditional hop bitterness or anything of the sort. Overall, a decent beer, but pretty poor in terms of the style and the complexity that you'd expect from even a sub-par IPA - this was lower than that. I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from Total Wine in Newport News, Virginia on 17-November-2019 for US$2,51 sampled in my hotel room here in Columbia, Maryland on 03-December-2019.
